There is one set of employee contribution bands for all LGPS members. These change on 1 April every year. Your employee contributions must be reviewed at this point (or more frequently if determined by your employer discretions policy).

LGPS Employer Contribution Rates
Upon becoming a LGPS employer, we will notify you of your starting contribution rate. The contribution rate is reviewed every 3 years as part of a fund-wide valuation exercise (the last taking place in 2019).
Making Payments and Sending Returns
Employers must ensure all the employee and employer contributions due to the Dorset County Council Pension Fund are received by the 19th of each month following when the deductions were made. Please make BACS payments to:
